Title: Tiger Tiger
Author: Lynne Reid Banks
Reviewer: Lee Morrison
The Main characters
Brute is the older of the cubs and is more ferocious, but when he
was younger, he protected his brother, but he went savage when he
was put in a circus.
Boots is the younger of the cubs and is the least ferocious, he
was taken by a princess to be a pet, but ended up being her true
friend.
What Happens
Two tiger cubs are snatched from the jungle by Caeser’s men.
The younger cub, Boots, is sent to be a pet for a princess while
the older cub, Brute, becomes a circus act, but eventually, they
are reunited and their keeper takes the to a safer place.
My likes and dislikes of the book
I liked the part where Brute comforted Boots on the ship to Rome
because that’s what brothers should do.
I think the end was quite boring and that Brute could have attacked
the crowd.
How it made you feel
The bit where Brute was tortured made my stomach churn.
What did you learn
I learnt that brothers should stick together no matter what.
Recommendations
I would recommend this book to someone who likes heart-warming tales.
